VALERIE DRESS with OBI belt sewing pattern

Valerie shift dress is a relaxed fit, beginners' pattern, suitable for all seasons and everyday wear. A simple, classic, easy to make, over the head style tunic, with no darts, three quarter length sleeves, a choice of two styles of pockets (patch or side). The dress has an optional Obi belt which is lined with soft fleece interfacing for a comfortable wear. There is also a small V detail at the neck, cuffs, and patch pocket edges, which gives a modern twist.
The pattern comes with sturdy paper templates (not flimsy tissue!) and a comprehensive easy to follow instruction booklet. All sizes from Small to 2XL are included.

Suitable fabrics to make Valerie are medium weight cottons, denim, poplin, linen, linen /cotton, or needlecord. You will also need a half metre of fleece interfacing and fabric for the Obi Belt. Consult the last picture for size guide, finished garment measurements and fabric quantities required.
Please note that all instructions are written in English only with both imperial and metric measurements.
