URSULA COATIGAN PDF digital download sewing pattern
This listing is for a PDF digital download sewing pattern to make an Ursula Coatigan. The pattern can be easily printed off at home (or a printshop) on A4 sheets of paper which are then stuck together using pritt stick or sticky tape. Full printing and assembly instructions are provided with the pattern download.
Ursula is a simple and straightforward project to make an unlined relaxed duster style coat or a cardigan type jacket, suitable to make in a variety of fabrics such as linen or cotton for summer/autumn or wool and wool mix fabrics for cooler weather. It can be made in a short jacket or long coat length, with a round neck, long or three quarter length sleeves, rounded side pockets detail (see pics) and an optional back belt. I have suggested using giant covered buttons and snap fasteners to give the coat a retro feel (available from the haberdashery listing), but you can put buttonholes on instead if you prefer.
There is a step by step blogpost where you can see lots of pictures of Ursula made up in different fabrics and also hack ideas so its well worth checking this out before you buy if you would like to see whats involved.
The URSULA digital files will be emailed to you automatically following completion of your purchase, so you can get on with your project straight away and avoid expensive foreign post charges.
To save on paper and printing, why not save your instructions file on your device and just print out the 38 PDF pages of templates.
