SUKI KIMONO PDF digital download sewing pattern
Save money and time by using this pdf sewing pattern download to instantly obtain this sumptuous loose fitting Suki kimono cardigan pattern.
Print off the A4 files and assemble the large format pattern at home, a quick and easy way to get going with your project.
Suki is a hip length Kimono, with large drapey sleeves, two patch pockets and a centre front band. French seams encase some of the visible inside side seams, so no need for an overlocker.
An easy quick make, suitable for beginners with some previous sewing experience. A Youtube Sewing Street TV tutorial is available to watch me making a Suki Kimono via the link on Suki Kimono page at www.sewgirlblog.com.
Suki is now available in an extended size range S-XXL (8-28). Adjust the length longer or add a belt if required (see last pic), to find out more how to do this visit the SUKI page at www.sewgirl.co.uk
You can easily adjust the pattern to make it longer and add a belt if required (see last two photos), I have posted about how to do this on the SUKI page at www.sewgirlblog.com.
The size chart for measurements and information about fabric requirements can be seen in the last picture.
Fabrics suitable for your project: any drapey fabric would be suitable such as viscose, lightweight cotton or linen/linen mixes, polyester or silk or even thicker weight fabrics would make a nice Autumn jacket version.
Please see my separate listing for viscose fabrics which are perfectly suited for this project.
This pattern includes two files which are automatically emailed to you, one is a templates file to print on A4 sheets and assemble, the other is an instruction booklet which you can download and view on your phone/tablet or laptop which includes step by step diagrams, sizing information and instructions.
Please note that the instructions are in English only with metric measurements.
