This is a PDf digital download to make a lovely relaxed fit, short or long batwing sleeve, classic, boxy PETULA TOP.

Suitable for many different types of fabrics and perfect for all seasons, in sizes 8-30. This PDF file allows you to print off the templates on A4 paper and assemble them yourself easily following the instructions or print off the large format patterns (one A0 and one A1) at your local printer. The simple step by step, colour illustrated, instructions can be viewed on your devise or printed on A4 pages.

Please note that a hard copy posted Petula top pattern is currently available to pre-order (posted 20th Oct) on a separate listing.

This is a really versatile Sewgirl pattern, an easy to make top, suitable for beginners. Hip length*, a round neckline with sloped shoulders, side vents with a  button and loop or ties back neck opening. With a gorgeous flattering shape, you will be sure to make time and time again.

Suitable fabrics include linen/viscose slub, lightweight linen, cotton, broderie anglais, viscose, double gauze, also suitable for cable knits or sweat shirting for when it gets chilly.  Why not even make a short sleeve version with a long sleeve tee underneath?

By the way.... the pattern also includes an add-on page, showing how to patch together fabric to make a colour block version as seen in the last pic. The colourblock hack pattern requires four different colours of the same fabric (linen/viscose slub is perfect). A half metre (1/2 yd) of each colour is required plus an extra half metre of any colour if you want to make the long sleeve version.

Please check the picture for size info, finished garment measurements and fabric requirements.

All instructions are written in English only with both metric and imperial measurements.

*length can be adjusted using the lengthen lines drawn on the pattern.
