ORLA TRAPEZE DRESS sewing pattern

ORLA trapeze dress, a new sewing pattern by the House of Sewgirl.
This is a stylish A-line shape, round neck dress, lovely to wear everyday, comfortable and practical in sizes from 8-22.
I've categorised this pattern as suitable for adventurous beginners, but some previous sewing experience would be advisable. Techniques involved are sewing in a dart, inserting a sleeve, making a button loop and some side pockets, so nothing too difficult, but if you would like to see how its made before you buy, why not check out the sewgirlblog (www.sewgirlblog.com) where there is a YOUTUBE demo available via a link on the ORLA page, along with photo step by steps that will show you whats involved.
Orla dress has two options, to make either with a buttoned placket detail with bias binding trim edging (Option A) as shown with the blue dress or just a simple neck facing (Option B) see the green dress.
Orla Trapeze dress has two side pockets and a back neck opening, make in a choice of lengths: long (calf length) or short (knee length). There is also an option of making the sleeves in either three quarter or short length.
This is a simple and easy pattern which would make a great addition to your wardrobe at all times of year. Suitable to make in a variety of fabrics such as linen, cotton, viscose or needlecord. The pattern consists of two large format templates on sturdy 75gsm paper with an eight page instructions booklet containing easy to follow step by step illustrations showing clearly every stage of the making process.
