QUILTED WRAP SCARF & BAGUETTE PURSE sewing pattern

This beginners sewing pattern is to make a fabulous quilted neck wrap and a charming little lined purse for all seasons. It is designed to match with Sewgirl hat patterns Brighton (pictured), Chelsea and Brompton. All hat patterns are on separate listings on the Etsy shop.

(Please note that a KIT option as also available including pattern, teal checked wool mix fabric, a reel of thread and post and pack. (does not including batting). Please see pic for fabric.) This KIT matches others in the range such as the Brompton bag kit and Brompton Hat kit.
Alternatively, make the scarf in your favourite patterned cotton, linen or viscose fabrics in spring, or wool mix fabrics in autumn/winter. The purse can be made in cotton, linen or PU leatherette.
Both projects are quilted and use a batting or volume fleece interfacing layer in between the outer fabric and lining.
The wrap scarf pattern is shaped, so that it's narrower at the back neck, with a cross band to hold together.
The charming purse, which is designed to hold small items such as a mobile phone, has a magnetic fastening on the flap and a long cross shoulder strap. Alternatively, the purse can be made with a shorter wrist strap, to make a cute clutch version.

The pattern contains a fully illustrated, step by step instruction booklet and a large format sturdy paper actual size template packed in a cellophane bag.

Fabrics required:
WRAP SCARF
You need 50cm of outer fabric and volume fleece or batting.

BAGETTE PURSE
You need 25cm of outer fabric, volume fleece and cotton lining fabric.
Both projects require also a reel of thread.
This is a simple and easy beginners quilting pattern, it is advised to use a 90 or 100 needle when sewing leatherette.

Instructions are written in english with both metric and imperial measurements.
