CHELSEA HAT PDF digital download sewing pattern
Chelsea Hat digital download sewing pattern by Sewgirl, a quick and easy project to make a fabulous baker boy style hat. The pattern instructions can be saved and viewed on your phone or laptop or they can be printed off at home along with the four A4 black and white template pages. There is an instruction page about how to print and easily assemble the numbered template pages.
SIZING: Chelsea Hat pattern comes in three sizes : Small (55cm/21 3/4"), Medium (57cm /22 1/2") and Large (59cm 23 1/4").
Tip: To measure for your head size, extend a tape measure around your temples, forehead and just above the ears. Pull gently to measure your head as shown in the diagram.
With a crown made from 6 segments, a side band and cheeky peak, its a perfect fit! This hat will keep your head nice and snug on cold days or wear just to look like a cool 'Girl about Town'.

FABRIC: Chelsea Hat pattern is suitable for fabrics such as denim, woven tweeds and checks, corduroy, needlecord, denim or cotton fabric.
For information about required fabric quantities, please see the last picture. You will also require some fusible interfacing and a large self cover button. If you would like extra warmth you could use fusible fleece (Vlieseline H640) or wadding /batting.
Instructions for printing:
This file consists of 6 x A4 pages of step by step full colour instructions which you can view on your phone or tablet, so no need to print off and 4 x A4 pages of templates (black and white).
N.B. When printing off the templates it is important to ensure that printing is in black and white and at scale actual size i.e. 100%. If in doubt, please check the test square on the first page which should measure 5cm x 5cm.
