This is a PDF digital download which will be emailed to you immediately after purchase, so that you can print off a Cecily Skirt sewing pattern easily at home on your home printer and get cracking.
Consisting of two files for the easy step by step illustrated instructions booklet and a second file containing a series of A4 black and white files to print off and stick together to make the large format pattern template sheet.
Cecily Skirt is a simple long length pull on everyday skirt with pleats at the front and an elasticated back waistband and side pockets, a great beginners project, perfect for cotton fabrics in the summer or denim/needlecord in the winter. If you would like to wear with a belt, you can make with optional tabs (see the blog for details) and there is a useful video tutorial about inserting the waistband at: https://sewgirlblog.com/cecily-skirt/
The skirt requires 2m or 2 1/4 yd of fabric 112cm wide or 1.8m (2 yd) of fabric 140cm wide. I like to use contrast fabric (25cm/1/4yd) for the pockets but this is optional.
Please note the pattern is written in English only with metric and imperial measurements.
The pattern templates require 18 pages of white A4 size paper, a glue stick or sticky tape and a guillotine or a pair of scissors.
The instruction files can just be viewed on your device if you would like to save on printing.
IMPORTANT: Ensure your printer settings are at 100% scale. Print off page 1 only first and check that the Test square measures 10cm x 10cm (4" x 4") before proceeding. Full instructions about how to print and assemble the pattern are included.
By purchasing this pattern you will have agreed to the terms and conditions.
Terms and conditions: This pattern is subject to copyright and permission is given for its home use only. Please do not pass on this pattern to others or use for commercial gain. This pattern is not for resale and I request that the files are not digitally changed or adapted in any way.
