BROMPTON BAG sewing pattern + KIT

This is a sewing pattern for the Sewgirl Brompton bag, an easy to make, stylish lined shoulder bag or backpack with adjustable straps, an inner pocket and a flap with a leather magnetic buckle fastening, that gives the bag that classic 100% Heritage British look we all love. 
The Brompton bag pattern includes both Backpack and shoulder bag versions in one pattern.
If you would like to purchase the 'PATTERN ONLY', please select this option from the dropdown menu or why not select the 'PATTERN + FOUR METAL PARTS' (2 x 30mm rings and 2 x sliders) in a choice of silver chrome or antique brass. An extra slider option add-on is specific for making a Backpack version.

Select the 'KIT' option for a complete Brompton bag kit, containing the pattern, instructions, fabulous outer wool mix fabric (brown, grey and red British wool check or houndstooth check), cotton lining, metal rings and one slider (shoulder bag only)* in antique brass, a leather magnetic snap fastener buckle and a hand screen printed Sewgirl label.

The finished bag size measures approx 30cm x 30cm x 4cm gusset (12" x 12" x 1 1/2") and the adjustable strap is 140cm (55") approx when fully extended. This bag is an ideal size to fit a tablet and lots of room for all your 'Girl-on-the-go' stuff.
